Who can see salary information?
Only the roles you permit. Access is set field by field, so an org chart can be open while pay stays with HR and management.
Can employees update their own details?
Yes, within limits you set. Address and bank changes can go through an approval so HR is not retyping forms.
Does this cover contract and consultant staff?
Yes. Contract type is part of the record, so people on different terms sit in the same system with different rules applied.
